Six members of our Academic Skills Center team volunteered at the Brooklyn Park location and the facility has improved tremendously since the last time we volunteered. We love going there to help sort food and make an impact!
I have had the pleasure to be supportive of the Aliso Niguel PTSA for a number of years--This year, for the third year in a row, I had the pleasure to join other fabulous parent volunteers as we visited the ANHS International Faire whereby Student Clubs showcased the World to help raise funds for their causes--and the food was great!!!
I have had the privilege to be supportive of our Catholic Parish Food Pantry for over 5 years. I spent today in support of Pantry Operations as i joined a fab team of parishioners as we processed over 2,000 lbs of Food for our Parish Pantry Customers.
I have the pleasure to be a member of the team supporting the St. Timothy's Pantry as my schedule permits--including being supportive of visits to the Laguna Niguel Farmers' Market--today I had the pleasure to join a fellow Pariosher as we picked up contributions from the vendors at Farmers' Market.
I had the good fortune, yet again, to be supportive of the Aliso Niguel High School Orchestra serving as an Usher Supervisor as The Orchestra delivered a world class performance at the World-Renowed Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo, CA.
Louisville is a very sports oriented town and to connect the enthusiastic fans to support local children's organizations is an incredible experience. Fans arrive at a basketball game with sacks of toys to donate. Toys are distributed to charities in Louisville. Near the holiday, some of the University of Louisville student athletes visit children at the hospital and distribute some of the toys. The children as are excited to see the players and the parent's are very grateful for the support. Many parents confide in us that they had no money for holiday gifts and are very grateful for the support. It is a very exciting and heart braking at the same time.
I visited Cheatham Elementary and facilitated kindergarten progress tests for the second quarter. In addition, I assisted with classroom organization and cleanup for the upcoming winter break.
